Connection request

A connection request is an invitation to join someone's LinkedIn network; once accepted, both parties can message each other directly.

The connection request is the front door of most LinkedIn outreach. You can send it with or without a note; short, relevant notes tend to lift acceptance, though no-note requests can also perform well at scale.

LinkedIn limits how many requests an account can send, and aggressive sending from a cold profile triggers restrictions. Warmed sender accounts with per-day caps and human-like timing keep acceptance high and accounts healthy.
